It’s been relatively quiet on the Skullgirls front recently, what with the game’s completion and the wait for its release.  XBox Marketplace has posted the release date of Skullgirls to be April 4th, but Reverge’s Ravidrath has since posted that it’s not an official release date and that the announcement is still coming.  Master Chibi has also created the Skullgirls themed Canopy Kingdom blog.  So far, it has a very funny interview with Sanchez, who worked as a special consultant of the game, and some details on the features of the upcoming Skullgirls demo.  Be […]

It continues!  Volume 47 and 48 of Megalodon’s compilation of Guilty Gear casual matches at Mikado are a blast from the past, featuring two players I haven’t seen seen in a long time: MINT and Tsubu.  Amazing matches all around: it’s very rare to see good A.B.A play nowadays. MBAACC 1.07 Kansai Saikyou Ketteisen 3 Final in a-cho

Kansai Saikyou Ketteisen 3 for Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code concluded last weekend at everyone’s favorite Kansai arcade, a-cho!  They have generously released the videos just 3 days after the event.  Footage includes the very beginning of the tournament through the preliminary matches all the way to the grand finals, adding up to 4 hours worth of video!  This tournament featured all of the winners from the previous 3on3s of the past few months, so competition was fierce.  Of special note is the Kanto team of Hato/Bubu/Niiya who made a surprise appearance.  They got […]

GGXX AC hitboxes!

Here is something very interesting that I forgot to post two weeks ago.  Hitboxes for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core are now available!  Apparently the French Chipp player Joe Higashi is the one we have to thank for this.  Unfortunately, the quality of the images are rather poor, since they were taken with a camera aimed at a screen.  I’m curious as to how he’s making the hitboxes visible, because if that information could be passed on to someone with capture equipment, we can get higher quality hitboxes!
