Kansai Saikyou Ketteisen 3 has started!  This is a series of 3on3 tournaments for Melty Blood that the Kansai and Kanto regions in Japan hold every year.  You can think of Kansai as the “West Coast” of Japan, and Kanto as East.  You can probably guess from the title that this is the third year that the Kansai region is doing this.  These tournaments all of the best players in the regions, and they’re (almost) always recorded so it’s a good showcase of the highest level of play in Melty that Japan has to offer!  You can find more information on the Kansai side of things here.

The first tournament was on January 8th, held at Leebros arcade in Takatsuki.  Some top 8 matches and all of top 4 were recorded.  Unfortunately the video quality could use some improvement, but it’s still very watchable.
